Grief Support Ministry
Caring Compassion Along the Path of Grief

After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most people around return to their normal lives.  But your grief continues and you feel alone.  Often, friends and family want to help, but they don’t know how.  That’s the reason for Hopewell Christian Fellowship’s Grief Support Ministry.

Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives.  We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place.  We will walk with you through grief’s path toward healing and hope for the future.  Hopewell’s Grief Support Ministry offers seminars, grief support groups, and individual grief support that offers help, hope, and encouragement after the death of a spouse, a child, a family member, or a friend. We utilize materials from Griefshare and Grief Care Fellowship.

Grief Support Group Ministry Peer-to Peer Support Groups will again convene in 2021. Stay tuned for upcoming dates.

The loss of a spouse is devastating and requires one of the biggest life adjustments you’ll ever have to make. Because your spouse was such a major part of your daily life, their loss is usually felt more immediately and for a longer length of time. As acute as your loss feels now, being alone doesn’t mean a lifetime of loneliness. It may be tempting to isolate yourself at this time but reaching out to others for support is critical.

NOTE: This is a Virtual Event ONLY. Once registered and prior to the event we will provide you with ZOOM access details.
